Quoting: Icedragon4405
I don’t mind those but I would switch Milano and Sheary. I was complying last night cause Kuzy was playing on the forth line and Kubel with with Ovi
While I certainly agree with you on most stuff, after the game, Lavy was asked about the lines. He stated that on this back to back, they were trying to get speed on all 4 lines. Doesn't matter about the line number, but wanted to focus on speed throughout the lineup. And honestly, I don't disagree with that, especially on a very difficult back to back. To prove he was actually forming up lines the way he said he was, Kuzy had the 2nd highest ice time. And actually played pretty well.
As far as NAK, Lavy stated he wanted someone physical (and fresh) to come in and win board battles for the top players. And honestly, again, I think NAK did a fantastic job last night. Yes, it could have been Wilson, but I think it is pretty prevalent that the team is trying to ease Wilson back in.
While I agree with you that lines should be better (see above - either option), I somewhat understand Lavy's points. I do wish lines would be set for a few games and stay set to develop chemistry (see December where lines were set and the team was humming)
