According to media today cap crunch. Could suggest Zboril and remove 2nd?

They are compliant today, sure, but they have a new deal for Pasta starting next year whatever it is (11M +?) plus if Bergeron & Krejci come back = cap problems

Nothing indicates that this trade isn’t this year. This year they’re fine. This year is what matters.

Grzelcyk isn’t exactly the guy to move to clear cap.

You’re probably right, teams never concern themselves with future cap crunches ahead of time…😏

Might i point you to the NHL standings?

This year is clearly the only immediate concern. Why is Grzelcyk the guy moved out, and why is it happening this year?

If what another poster/commenter recently stated is true, that Portillo won't sign with Buffalo because he doesn't feel he'll get the shot there, he sure wouldn't sign in Boston with Ullmark and Swayman there, so that pretty much takes him out of the deal..
