I am sure the Sharks would consider the Meier trade but how would this work for Leafs, how are they going to afford to resign him this summer, his QO is 10M and I would think his asking price is at least 8 per over a long-term deal. Adding a 3 M 4th liner doesn't help either.

That's a problem for future Leafs GM Bruce Boudreau to figure out.

Maybe best to think about ti ahead of time lol. Honestly, I would be kinda worried as a leaf's fan with Matthews, he has NMC next year, so if he hasn't signed an extension by the start of next season you could be in real trouble.

I am sure teams like the Kings who have Kopitar and his 10 M coming off the books that same off-season would send a huge offer his way.

Id Assume Flyers say No. Robertson is meh. and TK is clearly the guy for them at the moment and probably future captain at this point too.
