I will say this to everyone who suggests a Kovy to Leafs scenario: Kovy is NOT coming here, and he would never be welcome. The Leafs don't need him, he doesn't fit the structure of the Leafs, and when Kovy bailed on his contract with the Devils all those years ago, he really angered the GM at the time, and that GM is now the GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Lou Lamoriello. And Lou had a LOT of things to say about it, and none of them were good by any means. So no, he won't get over it and no, Kovy will not come to the Leafs, and I'm really going to be surprised if anything works out for him in North America since he bailed on his contract last time.

That's a terrible deal for Leafs. Also I agree with the ubove Kovy isn't coming to toronto
