I think Florida would rather have Blueger instead of Kappy in the deal because Blueger has 1 year left and could just walk giving them more cap space rather than having another year of Kappy.

I also think it's a tad expensive for us. Ty Smith or POJ could probably fetch us Duclair alone. the rest is a slight overpay for Bennett in my eyes.

As for kappy just send him to Vancouver after. We all know its bound to happen haha

Haha, Moving Blueger instead would be fine. Probably have to pay to move Kapanen at this point, but either way it could work. Florida would probably also like the extra cap space that provides. Could Maybe take out Poulin or the 3rd after that to even it out more.

I don't think florida takes this. They're not having a great year, but have pieces to make a push when healthy, taking away two of those pieces and giving them none back doesn't really help? Duclair and Bennett combined for 59 goals last year, Kap has 69 in his career. I mean Rutta and smith would help them, but limits their offense, and hurts the pens defense honestly. Also Duclair had surgery on his Achilles in the offseason and still hasn't played this year, that's an injury that worries me on a player personally.
