Nah man, Boeser isn't playing quite as bad as he did before the new year but he is still having a terrible season overall.
Boeser is producing decently yes, but he is still getting heavily outscored, outchanced and outshot at 5v5.
The Canucks are paying a very heavy price for the points Boeser is putting up, and I don't mean that in terms of cap hit but in that Boeser is responsible for giving up more goals against than he facilitates for the Canucks.
It's the complete opposite with Zetterlund, as he contributes heavily to the Devils dominating possession and chances.
It's no surprise that the Devils have a positive goal differential with Zetterlund on the ice.
As forwards they have very different value propositions (Boeser being a shooter vs. Zetterlund being a defensive / possession beast) but Zetterlund is putting up far better results than Boeser and I'd be devastated if the Devils did an one-for-one swap of the two, nevermind the Devils adding to the trade.
