Interesting observation for a Forward and a 14th pick in the draft. Wouldn't exactly call it scraps. Actually a pretty solid offer.

A 1st and Rosen are valuable pieces, as well as a good goalie prospect in Portillo. The Sabres, or Sabres fans, literally cannot give you a more valuable piece in the 2023 draft than their 1st.

The first is fine. Rosen is not good enough to be the opener, and the rest is filler. Portillo is going to FA, Asplund isnt good, and a late second isnt super valuable.
