Description

This obviously starts with BOTH players waiving their NMC, which seems unlikely, but it gives FLA a defensemen, albeit an overpriced one, and saves them almost $3m a year over the next 3 seasons, which you can put into a veteran such as Reimer to help Knight.

The 4th year, you still have OEL on the books, but we can guess that the salary cap will be north of $90m. Still not an ideal use of cap, assuming OEL is a 3rd pairing D then.

Bobrovsky has more value, so I feel that Vancouver would have to add, but what would that be?

Just an idea to give Florida a little more cap space, don’t freak out 😂
