Defense still is not great. Goalies are not good enough, LW and RW are also not good enough. If canucks want to rebuild it will take longer than one year

I don't expect them to be but if we get Bedard we would be at a stage where we wouldn't be actively trying to tank (not that we ever were) but this team is definitely better and has fewer bad contracts and more pieces in which they can flip at the deadline for futures and become a true contender within 3-5 years, this gives us a solid core in which we can build around especially defensively b

these trades are all bad and lol at the hoffman circus, he'll cost a 2nd to dump alone

Zona will reach the cap floor just fine next year when THEY receive Bedard/Fant and build a playoff team with Chych and Vej and jesus no 6M Myers on D

Little's contract is insured so you'd have to pay a 2nd to dump Myers to ANA because CBJ prolly don't want him either.

According to Friedman Myers actually has some traction around the NHL so I doubt we pay anything significant to get rid of him, heck Arizona could retain half at the deadline and get a pick in return.

then let VAN do that... you obviously don't know Zona's team structure and projection. If they wanted multi-year dumps, they would have taken more at the start of the season.

After Myers signing bonus it's a 1 year 1 million real dollars for 6 million cap hit so this isn't a multi year dump? If Zona is at the cap floor next year or gets other dumps to get there first I understand but if not Myers to Zona does make sense.

Sabres decline- we are no longer looking for a goalie

And btw, no one is gonna pay last year’s price for Demko
You’re not gonna get a 1st plus
1- goalies aren’t often traded for that
2- let alone goalies having a bad season that are injured

Your best bet is to keep him & get him playing good again
Then maybe u can get the kind of value you’re looking for,
bc currently, that’s just a pipe dream

Finally, a realistic deal for Boeser that MTL would consider.

I can see why that would be a point of contention honestly I'd take even a later round pick I was trying to gauge the value of the pick needed, from what I've seen from the isles players this year based off of salary and production Bailey has probably been their worst forward with this trade they get a little better and save 500k on the cap, knowing Lou he's always trying to win so I can see him paying a pick for it, what round that pick would be is up for discussion I will say this is probably the earliest round the canucks could get.
