I highly doubt OTT will end up this close to the cap, but one can dream. I have the cap going to 85 mil. It's been reported as high as a 4 mil increase from 82.5, but who knows, with Bally sports going bankrupt where it'll end up.

Trading Zaitsev's cap hit is looking more and more like a must. Unfortunately I don't even know if 2 2nd's gets it done. If OTT doesn't have a pick in the top 10 this year, I'd consider moving the 2023 first, if that gets it done.

With Zaitsev's contract moved, and Debrincat extended, I would just fiddle around the edges. Depth pieces like Hathaway and Schenn would be nice. A solid backup in Lankinen to give Sogaard another year in the minors. Bringing back Boro would be another great depth piece and they have familiarity. ( And I love Boro).

Sens have a lot of past draft picks that need to be signed this summer, or they'll become free agents. I like Loheit, Latimer, Novak, Tychonick and Roger the best and they would add much needed depth in the AHL.
