Interested in your reasoning on the NYI trade. What's in it for the Isle? Hall gets you Larsson last year so now you think Eberle gets you Hamonic. Bailey scored more points than Ebs for $2.7mil less last year. How is taking a larger salary for arguably a worse player a salary dump? Look forward to your comments. Thanks

In response to the Eberle trade. The Isles should've traded him to Edmonton last year. They would've got way more. The Isles will lose a d-man in the dispersal draft unless they trade one. Every team knows this. They won't get as much because of that. Secondly, Hamonic had 14pts and was -24 in 49 games. Not a great season at all. Eberle may of had a bad playoff, but still had 51pts and was +3 this year. The Isles need Ebs for a guy like Tavares to sign on as well. Duchene is another option for them, however he is a center and will cost more, even though he had around 41pts and was -16 or worse. The Baily throw in is for the Isles to get ride of some cap. His contract is up at the end of the year and they might get a second for him. Notice I sent a second in that deal and did say it may also take a prospect. ex: khara. I'm wondering if you think Khara is enough or would it have to be Jones or Bear?
