I don't think Winnipeg would want to get rid of a second round pick for a trade like that. Frost is pretty good, with a decent upside, but a second is likely going to be used in a Toews like deal.

I was thinking frost could be a nice trade and sig put up 45-50 pts one day and would be cheap for a few years especially if people dont re-sign

Not so sure I call Myers a cap dump..... if Vancouver retains 50% for that last year, they likely get a 2nd rounder.

Asking for Beoser to take that on is plain greedy and ridiculous..... especially given that your other deals make some sense and have some fair market value.

Having said that:

Moving Frost makes little sesne if you are rebuilding, he has been decent, and still young enough to be a 40-50 point guy. Worst case a good 3rd liner.

I think if you are retaining in Hayes, you do better than that. A 2nd and a very good prospect..... Hayes has been a 60 point guy for the most part, and at $5 million would have more value.
