No chance in hell you're getting a conditional 1st for Mittelstadt, let alone on top of Greenway.

This year:
Greenway: 31-2-4-6
Mittelstadt: 50-7-21-28

And the condition most would say is way out of reach. Are you saying you wouldn't give up a 1st for a young 2nd line center that give you 65 points? You are insane to turn that down. Most teams spend more for a rental. The condition is a safety net if he actually hits his potential.

If you think he's actually gonna hit his potential, don't trade him. There's your safety net.
Not adding a conditional 1st, or even a 2nd, on to Greenway just because you want to focus on Greenway's one down year of the last four. Guarantee we can get a better offer elsewhere than a third line center, especially if we're adding conditional 1sts.

You wouldn't be giving a 1st round pick for a 3rd line center because 3rd line centers don't get 65 points. Not to mention lets say he only hits 60. You trade a 2nd and a guy playing his way out of your lineup for 60 points. And we trade him because we have enough skill in our top 6.

I disagree. More balanced bottom 6 + development from good prospects. We don't have to do anything huge to get better.

Ryan Hartman hit 65 and he's a bottom six player. Sam Steel is on his way to 40+ and he's waiver fodder. I'm not giving you a 1st just because Kaprizov turns nobodies into guys whose stat lines look like they're top six.

Let's make it a conditional 4th that becomes a 3rd if he manages to outscore his career high of...28 points... Greenway and Mittelstadt are both third liners. If you want Greenway, come up with a better offer. That's it.
