I know, I know, it's all never going to happen. I had fun anyways!

Sign and trade for Meier at the deadline, you can add a second if needed. Sell low on Dubois at the draft to the only team he'll sign long term with but at least get back into the first round and address a need at RD. Hometown discount for Toews, he can play anywhere 1C-3C, even on the wing at points. If Perfetti struggles as a top 6 C Toews can take over.

Trade 1 year of PLD to FLA for 1 year of Sam Reinhart. Run Meier-Scheif-Ehlers and KC-Fetts-Reinhart. That would be fun.

I do wonder about Fetts future at C. I don't see it with his size and skating, so I really hope Chevy has a backup plan at 2C.

Edit: Pretty sure Meier would need at least $9M to consider staying in WPG, which would also drive up Scheif and Helle's prices. Consequences of signing a big name, I guess.

Long term I would think Lucius or Lambert would be options if they aren’t traded. A first round pick in 2023 could also be a top 6 centre in a couple years
