McCabe has a 7 team NTC. Supposedly all of the Canadian teams except Toronto are on it. But if McCabe did agree to waive, Hawks probably accept

Domi for the 2024 2nd and Pool Party. Oilers can keep Yamo and Neimelainen. Hawks don't have enough roster space to absorb 6 players from Oilers if you include the 3 guys in the McCabe trade. And Hawks aren't taking on those cap hits for next season for free anyway.

All of those trades and the team isn't better and they decimated the picks and prospects.
3rd for Bjugstad
Don't trade for McCabe
Macewan for a mid round pick
Domi for JP + 2nd or 3rd
