Notes:

- Stalberg walks for bigger payday.
- Wingles is not re-signed.
- Duchene brings high-end skill to top line (could be useful C as well). COL receives proven 3rd/4th line C/LW in Smith who is quick, tough, skilled, puts up points, and lastly, protects other players from being manhandled. Ceci is "tabled" #2D who COL could use (young as well). Brown is C prospect with high ceiling of potential #1C down the road (helps with COL rebuild). 2017 1st to sweeten the pot.
- Borowiecki gives PHI that tough "Broad Street Bullies" player which they would probably LOVE.
- Hammond moved to WPG as they could use goalie (no future here anymore).
- Expansion deal gives VGK #6D and player who could use fresh start. Has potential upside (VGK scout Bob Lowes familiar with him) but serviceable AHL depth in meantime.
