Pinto RFA Rights to PHI - Maybe we can help each other out here
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMDannyB</b></div><div>Oh I totally agree the Bedard comment is just an exaggeration lol but you aren’t going to get the moon and the stars for him like most Sens fans want because of the situation Dorion put himself in. Ur not getting a top 6 player like fans want because Pinto isn’t a top 6 player himself</div></div>
It's more the "potential" for a top six player with complimenting pieces.
Oh well, a guy can try, right? haha

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMDannyB</b></div><div>I mean yeah I would even take Brannstrom out to make the deal more fair but Sens fans think Pinto is the next Bedard so they are gonna laugh at this offer you made</div></div>
They think he's Bedard? That's the first I've heard of that one! o.O
He played over his (young) head as a 2C last year, and could run as a 3C this year (with room to grow). Extemely talented guy who could possibly be signed to 2-2.2M.
With respect to Branny, unfortunately there's just no more room on the left side. SanderSZN has arrived. Bran just hasn't been able to stick. I feel like this would be a favour to send him somewhere where he can play, and hopefully fluorish. :)

I figure that this helps you guys push the rebuild along a little faster. Get two really fast skaters in Branny/Joseph, as well as meet your veteran quota for the team.
Bran is an awesome D who just hasn't found the right fit here. Joseph is a reclamation project, and maybe a change of scenery will be nice for him. Sokolov is a well-liked teammate, who works extremely hard, a bit rough on the skating, but can fill out out the fourth line until/if you can find a right fit for him. The draft picks also help, while not robbing your cupboards. I'm assuming Briere continues to stock them on your end.
This way we can sign Pinto to a minimum one year deal.
Hopefully this sounds reasonable.

They may take it if we added Greig or Crookshank to the offer.

Last Attempt at Duchene
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SuprDave45</b></div><div>I like the effort you put into explaining your thoughts. Bravo for not just slapping something together.
Unfortunately, can't really give equal backing to the trade offer.
You can be sure way more has already been offered by other teams for Duchene. About the only thing in the offer that makes sense is the 1st rounder. None of the players included come close to Duchene's level.
Ceci is a decent d man, but he isn't a top pair guy..sorry he just isn't, not by today's NHL standard. Dzingle is a bottom six winger...and Zach Smith is a bottom six center. Before you say anything about what they "could" be, they are 25 & 29 respectively. They both have likely already shown you what they have...especially Smith. That isn't close to enough for a true 1st line center who is just entering their prime.
This would also mean your waving goodbye to Turris.
PS, I am not an AVs fan =)</div></div>
Appreciate the comment! I agree with you wholeheartedly. Just working with what we have (BTW - org seems to overvalue the hell outta Ceci and was hoping Avs' scouts would take the bite muhahaha lol)! I had thought about maybe adding White into the equation and possibly swapping out one of Dzingle/Smith. Either that or attempting to send Brassard to at least give them a 2C.
So many ideas and way too much time spent wasting typing space on them as none will ever come to fruition (DAMN YOU, BUDGET + EUGENE MELNYK!! *shakes fist*)! lol
EDIT - Maybe something like:
Ceci
Brassard
White/ (or Dzingle)
1st Round 2019
for
Duchene
or Duchene

Especially because I think Brown and and Chaplik are about ready to make the jump soon. Seriously Well done in thinking this one through I like it alot will it happen probably not. However I love the ideas.</div></div>
Yeah any idea about a Duchene trade will most likely be quashed due to budgetary reasons etc (have to sign Turris/Stone next year, with EK coming up soon). Nice to dream though!
Thanks for your kind comment. I try to post at least "semi-realistic" propositions compared to a lot of our other posters lol.
Have a great day!

Never said I wanted to keep him! No one is going to take THAT CONTRACT though! LMAO

C'mon, Uncle Euge! See what happens when you spend money! Let's do it again! (
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Blazingbat11</b></div><div><strong>Both trades suggested by this thread and your counter offer make no sense</strong>. Sending B.Ryan contract will cost the Sens, let alone getting a stud in return. And asking both C.White and L.Brown makes absolutely no sense for the Sens. Maybe they would let one of them go in a package deal (I doubt it) but never both, even if the return is Simmonds.</div></div>
How so? I think that they're pretty rational as opposed to some of the wild threads I see on here. Our team more or less stays the same but with some things that are potentially on the horizon - i.e. Wideman to Vegas as they're not gonna let EK's BFF/defense partner in Methot go (especially how he performed in playoffs), Ceci traded (rumours all of the time), Claesson/Harpur stepping up and showing that we don't need Boro anymore, Hammy being DONE with org, Chabot/White coming up at least for a few games before decisions are made, Pyatt comes back 100% whereas Stalberg is possibility if he doesn't want too much money.
Let me know! :)
Edit - Sad part is that we know Eugene won't spend! :'(

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NateElder12</b></div><div>Flyer pass. Ryan contract is horrendous and none of those players going back can replace Simmer. Colin White and Logan Brown and a 2nd or 3rd would be what they are looking for.</div></div>
Haha like I said, definitely a pipe dream scenario! Bobby is a wonderful person but the contract severely hurts our team.
Did my hw on the point totals though.. They roughly even out and Dzingle is only in his rookie year. I think that Ryan would be reinvigorated after the playoff run and then playing for his fav team. Not sure with respect to PHI salary but thanks for the comments though!
