TB is going to need Fluery's under league minimum contract next year and I think gets claimed which would screw TBs cap even worse next year.

Tampa is definitely interested in Lafferty, but they would need to make another trade involving Namestnikov first. Unfortunately, sending Fleury down only clears 762k, and with Lafferty making 1.15, Tampa would be over. While Fleury on waivers also isn't a huge gamble for Tampa, they may not want to take the chance if the team feels he has a spot next season. '24 2nd l+Names for Lafferty could work, or even the 2nd+5th, but Tampa would need to move Names before that or failing that, waive him.
