Description

For a salary dump move I think Bowman is going to turn to one of his old pals with Florida, Montreal or Winnipeg. I chose Florida since it looked like they could use a goal scorer and Panik's contract is easier to move than all the NMC/NTC and even Panarin's $6M. I'm thinking Fortin & Debrincat start the year in Rockford and maybe get called up for at least a few games during the season.

While there's a chance Panik could be traded I doubt it. Very rarely do you see an RFA sign then get traded when they could've been traded first. Panik stays

Sure, but depending on the cap, moving Kruger/TVR may not get them under. I count 8 NMC's, then there's Panarin, Kruger and Panik as the only contracts more than $1M. Assuming the trade to move Kruger to Vegas goes as rumored, if they need to move another contract it's more likely either Panarin or Panik. I'd think Panarin stays if that's the case.
