Description

*NOTE - The Rangers are projected to have around 5 million in additional space around the deadline. As shown, we are not over the cap.

We don't need Tarasenko or Barbashev, but I really like the look of this lineup. For as far as the trade goes, it is expensive, but the world would keep on spinning if we have up these assets. Kravtsov has no future with this team, and I don't see Skinner making it to the big leagues for as long as Fox, Trouba, and Schneider occupy the right side. St. Louis has an abundance of LD so that's why I opted to send Skinner. We still have Dallas' 1st this year, which makes our first expendable. It would be hard to juggle the cap but its do-able.

What would you prefer? Tarasenko is having a down year and so is Barbashev. Both are pending UFA’s so unless you guys extend them, I don’t see much more headed St. Louis’ way.

So is Barbashev... just curious, how many times have you watched him play this season? This offer might scrape you Tarasenko, expecting both is nuts.

I think it's a reasonable and fair return, given all the factors. Even if he goes ham and the Rangers win the Cup, he was never going to get much more than this.
