Doing what Vegas couldnt

Created by: Realistic
Team: 2022-23 Seattle Kraken
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 9, 2023
Published: Feb. 9, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Notes:
1. A) More than enough left in cap space in to resign Meier, The D for next year n mattys fat contract coming up but will prob eventually have to move Wennberg or Gourde if they chose to develop Wirght next year otherwise trade him.
2. Ik holl is bad but good enough as a right 3rd pair d men for cheap
3. saved the firsts n that meier trade has a huge return i dont see any problem with it. If anything yotes might need 2 1st instead 2 2nds n a 1st but the market has said Chychrun value isnt 2 firsts

I think these would be solid moves to start thier first competitive era in the franchise what are your thoughts woulds this team go deep?

Top 6 player in Schwartz on a good contract with term, a Second and third in the strongest depth draft in years, for a guy whos leaving in the summer?? No ones giving up 2 first round picks for a dude everyone knows isnt staying. Plus Schwartz n second this year is a better pull than taking a chance on a first round pick.

Arizonas trying to tank plus that would be a huge return like i said maybe it needs two first but i think ppl are undervaluing what 2nds r this year.

Considering that the first and both seconds probably isn’t enough to take Grubauer alone, let alone Oleksiak, you are essentially paying a fourth rounder for Chychrun and Vejmelka. Yotes aren’t taking that. And considering that in this scenario, both Grubauer and Oleksiak would have to go to stay cap compliant, it’s not a stretch for Arizona to consider Grubauer and Oleksiak as cap dumps. Oh, and both Grubauer and Oleksiak have full NTC, so the move won’t go through anyway.

a top 6 player that doesn't match the sharks timeline. A second and third in a draft with the strongest depth that experts are saying evens out to a regular draft about midway through the first round. Sharks could keep meier, idk where you got this insider info no one else has when both Grier and meiers agent have said they have held very positive talks with each other throughout the season
