I like it. Not a huge fan of Toews move but can live with it.

There are certainly other center options, O’Reilly for example. Do think the canes need to go after someone who can be at least partially the second line center for the playoff run. I still have belief that kk can be it at some point but for now having him as a 4C is just great depth

Agree. If it comes down to it give me Toews over ROR all day. I just don’t think ROR is gonna be able to regain form after the broken foot, rough year before that and changing teams in a short time period. Plus the cost to acquire will be higher for him versus Toews.

I wouldn’t mind Henrique but I actually don’t like that he has an extra year left in this situation bc I’d rather see Necas shifted to C next year after full offseason preparing for it and getting another top 6 guy with the cap space versus having it tied up with Henrique. KK I see as long term 3C at this point with an outside shot of figuring out 2C. Either way I’m fine with that outcome at his cap hit.
