But you do have to give to get

Schneider + what would be a fair trade to get Kane in your guys opinion??
And keep in mind, this is Kane at a drastically reduced Cap hit

If we could get Schneider for retention on Kane & Lyubushkin,
I’d do that in a heartbeat
I’m guessing we’d have to give up more though

Since NyR is losing a talented young defenseman,
maybe we send them Ryan Johnson in this deal as well ?

Love, Love, Love the idea of bringing back McCabe to stabilize our 3rd pair
I’d actually put Schneider with him (for now) & keep Jokiharju with Power
At some point, i agree that flipping them could make a lot of sense- just don’t wanna put too much on Schneider’s plate before he’s ready

Puljujarvi I’m not so sold on
But if all we have to give up is Asplund, then ok i guess

Well sure, BUT Kane > Tarasenko
