Description

I believe this benefits both teams, The Stars are able to open up a cup window and possibly truly compete. The Blackhawks are able to gain draft picks in a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round and gain a good prospect in Bourque. Gurianov gains a chance to prove himself and possibly an extended stay with Chicago since he's a RFA. Khudobin is just a cap dump for 20 games. Peterson has NHL experience, a good prospect and is young. If Skankoven is traded then the first round pick will not be included.

Honestly i think the stars might be the only bidder left for kane. Not sure the price will be this high.

I have to agree here. I’m thinking Guri, Dobby, and our 2024 2nd for Kane (50% retention).

I could see Chicago flipping Dobby with 50% retention. At least they would get a little more value.

Dallas 2024 1st round pick has conditions on it from trade with NYR. Cannot be traded at deadline. I agree that list of possible trade destinations for Kane is a short one.

Just swap it with the 2025 one then, same conditions.
