Edmonton has plenty of offensive defensemen already. They need someone who is strong defensively to take the pressure off Nurse & Ceci... this ain't it.

Because you can only retain on three contracts at a time, and they still have ROR and Barby to deal with. If Barby extends or doesn't require retention, then maybe. Until then, zero chance they retain on Acciari. And they probably are not taking a 3M RFA with the total yips for him anyway.
