Duh a pending UFA, A guy who's out for the year after shoulder surgery. A 2023 1st that Dubas says he won't pay for a rental and a 2nd. And the Hawks accept this why?

Even more laugh is thinking that you're getting Chychrun retained for Sandin and a 1st rounder. The cost of Chychrun at full value is 2 1st round picks and a B level prospect.

Kane shouldn’t cost nearly that much.
Chychrun will cost way way way more.

Is this really the year to go all in? I think the only reason to not wait to make the big push next year, is if management thinks they have to move matthews this off-season.

Sandin was a late 1st, The guy has 2 16 point seasons. he's not worth a 1st and 2nd. if that were the case than Filip Hronek is worth as much as Jakob Chychrun.

But look at the road they have this year. In my opinion there’s nothing they can do to get to the level of boston and carolina, maybe even tampa.

Well they have to get to the level of Tampa or else it’s gonna be a miserable post season again

And that’s my point. Won’t thinks look better next year when tampa has the sergachev and cirelli contracts kick in? Or when Boston either loses Pastrnak, or has to pay him north of 10, and likely lose their 2C?

This just isn’t the year for toronto. The only reason to go for it is if they know they have to swing matthews at the draft or risk losing him for nothing.

Really? A cap dump, a player with 3 significant injuries in 3 years, a 1st, and 2nd is too much? Think Hawks would skip on that and just hold onto Kane.

There’s no cap dump. There’s a roster player, a prospect, a 1st and a 2nd. That’s too much for kane, who has been pretty bad this year.

What benefit is there to Chicago to keeping kane?

Everyone cam view it as they want. If Kane has been so bad then why trade for him?
