"Why not both?"

I believe with accrued cap space (and if they send 1 more guy down now), this fits as is? If not, can retain on Lafferty or just leave him out. With Goodrow off the books, it's somewhat possible to sign Tarasenkshow or Kane to 5-7million in the offseason. Swap them on the top 2 lines depending on chemistry.

An added benefit of doing this now, is that you can cap dump Goodrow while simultaneously making the team better for the playoff run in an attempt to sign one of these two "rentals". If you cap dump Goodrow in the off season, it will be for nothing, and you'll likely need to include parts of this package regardless.

I don't really think this is necessary, but just having fun. Not that anyone reads descriptions anyway and I'll have to say this in the comments several times...

Picking up Motte and Bjugstad would cost less and provide more to the Lineup than Kane would.

Yes. The extra benefit I forgor to write about, is that it helps shed Goodrow to sign one of the two rentals next season, while also making the team better for the playoffs at the same time. Otherwise, would need to completely dump Goodrow in the offseason. If, they even try to keep one of the rentals, anyway

Yea getting rid of Goodrow would be a plus. And maybe getting rid of Trouba in the offseason would be useful as well, find a cheaper 2RD

After Tarasenko barely nets anything, I don't think the market is as high as we might think. This is the equivalent of 3 first round picks

I dont think Kravtsov isn't equivalent of 1st at all, personal opinion only is he is closer to bust. Plus Goodrow is a big cap dump that isn't being paid for. At least that's how I see this offer.
