I don’t get why Foligno is not also on the list. He’s not useful to our current situation and would be better served on a young soon to be playoff team.

Because he’s likely to sign a lower AAV on his next deal and he’d be much better in a 4th line role. The problem with watching the Wild and evaluating how the team is playing is that almost every single forward is playing in a role above their capability. That’s a recipe for selling low and moving on from useful parts.
