using the assets currently available. so up to TDL and summer whatever changes they make will hopefully add to this roster. The cat i did comparable to Horvats contract with islanders. So if ottawa moves any ufas during TDL for picks i didnt include those ..I could see Motte Talbot and possible Holden and or Hamonic get moved for late picks or possible 4th liner. Ottawa is weak on the 4th line i like the top 9 tho. If they can get like 3rd or 4th round picks for like Motte Holden and Talbot is a bonus not included here. This opens the door for zaitev to get moved since its his expiring contract and he got his bonus paid

The Forsberg injury is an absolute disaster for Ottawa, but we're at least gonna know if it's reasonable to expect Søgaard to play backup next season.

Also I really don't think there's a chance Zaitsev is back next year. Sens are reportedly actively trying to move him. He'll be traded, or less ideally bought out.

i also dont know what the new ownership group will be like.but i would assume they might buyout zaitev or keep him cuz he will become a viable asset after he gets his bonus...teams always need RD so why buy him out when someone else will sign him...nickel and dime a team to get a returning asset
