I think its craxy, but it makes sense to me. Edmonton need to capitalize on McDavid and Drai contracts and if they can extend Timo then its worth it. San Jose go into a full rebuild like they should and get a great start to building their future. Win Win

yes adding at least 2 of those 3 and SJ cant retain on 3 more salarys only 2 and they both wont be past this season tying up all out slots. You can pull out some of the C propects

The Oilers have a "window" to the Cup for the next three years. Yup, they could chose not to upgrade this year and hope for the next two.
But if they want Timo, they are going to have to pay.
