There's not really much of a chance the Jets agree to take Edmundson as an uncompensated cap dump in a PLD trade. They don't have the cap space and there is no logical reason for Winnipeg to hurt their lineup like that.

That makes no sense. They would just trade him elsewhere for good pieces they want. The chances he walks for nothing are slim to none. Winnipeg is in 100% control on that.
