I would do this but the cap next year might be an issue. A Sanderson extension might be tougher to fit in

Its actually not bad at all, because the sens have $4million coming off from the buyouts, and the cap is expected to jump considerably. switch to the long term view

Ottawa is probably better off just signing Weegar as a free agent in the Year 2031 LOL.

That contract is way too long IMO.
