It's already been reported that the Rangers are out of the running on the Kovalchuk sweepstakes, So Kovalchuk to the Rangers isn't happening.

Was reported, then Brooks said that wasn't the case. He said pretty much that most likely NJD won't trade NYR a possible player that'll hurt them but it's possible.
