For sure. It's a great move for a contender. Cheap talent is key when you're up against the cap. I think he is sneaky good and would probably end up looking like a steal in hindsight. Might need to upgrade to a 2023 2nd instead of 2024, though.

Nah. We are stocked to the gills with left handed defensemen. Among those LHD, we have Korchinski who should be entering the NHL ranks either next year or the year after, and he is speculated to be a (super)star defenseman. CHI still might have interest in adding LHD depending on how highly they value the player, but that position is definitely the least of CHI's worries.

And then we also have Phillips, Vlasic, Galvas, and Roos who are pretty close. And then Del Mastro, Allan, Kaiser, and a few others who are set to go pro between the end of this season and the 2024 summer. And they all are developing super well and have legit NHL upside. So we have a ton to work through.

Kravtsov doesn't seem like a player Davidson would target. Overall value isn't that bad but would think a different "prospect".
