Too much for Bjugstad

Probably. But I like what Bjugstad brings to the table, and think it rounds out our bottom 6 perfectly.

While I think the Rangers paid less for Tarasenko...due to both his NTC and his high Cap hit, that some teams couldn't handle...I think guys like Bjugstad and Luke Schenn will actually be more expensive. With no NTC'S to limit suitors...and a low AAV to help contenders with little Cap space...teams will actually have to overpay a bit for these players.

Considering how well the Rangers have played of late, and how perfectly they would be built from top to bottom in the Playoffs, I'm OK with paying a little extra.

I honestly don’t know if Kravstov will ever make the nhl at this rate

How many times will he be hyped only to not make the roster and him to act like a complete Karen about it?

Edit: Ok so he did make the Rangers for like 28 games

Not that he played good

It's been mutually destructive.

His attitude has been abysmal, at times. No defending it.

But he has been jerked around a lot. While guys like Leschyshyn and Blais stayed as Lineup regulars without bringing anything to the table, Kravtsov would repeatedly get benched for relatively minor infractions. Definitely messes with your confidence after awhile.

Now add to the mix that the Rangers are making Veteran acquisitions to round out a legitimate Playoff roster, and it takes Kravtsov out of the equation even more.

A team like Chicago would actually be perfect for Kravtsov. Entering a rebuild with no immediate expectations. Where he can consistently play and build up his game effectively.

Kravtsov feels too much like Alex Nylander. Davidson's first trade was sending him to Pit for a 4th liner who was thought to be about out if a job because of injured players returning. They might take him but as a very minimal cost.

But why pay a 2nd for a bottom 6 forward?

If we can get him for less, great.

The Rangers have been the best team in the NHL over the last 30 games. They made it to the ECF last year, and have already made their biggest splash to improve the tea for the next Playoff run. They're all in. Regardless of the fact that he would primarily be in the bottom 6, he would provide the team with 4 decent Scoring Lines, and more depth in the event of an injury to the Top 9.

Considering where they are right now, I have no problem paying extra for that.
