there are easily a dozen teams that need luke schenn more than the leafs, yet 95% of canucks proposals have him going to toronto

Why would the Rangers give up a pick (even a 7th round pick), for a defenseman that they would probably send to Hartford. Depth is great but he doesn't make the top 8 D on the Rangers.
