No. Probably insufficient for Gavrikov alone, which I’ve addressed as nauseum elsewhere (though this is closer). He has already started preliminary extension negotiations with EDM, which Carrie’s at least some value, and Puljujärvi’s distance from his ELC and proximity to RFA/UFA rights severely hampers his.

Gavrikov’s agent has been speaking with teams for nearly a month by now. The only “rumor” that he was a pure rental leaked from Boston. The only sourced report suggesting Gavrikov would not sign an extension came from TSN’s Chris Johnston on Feb. 16, directly contradicting his own report two days prior, and *shockingly* mentioning only the Bruins specifically. Sounds like a ploy by Boston to depress the market on Gavrikov. Well played if it works, but I’m not buying it.
