Greig is close in value to a top 10 pick. Quite a few pre-season lists had him ranked in the top 20 of NHL affiliated prospects alongside players taken high in the previous few drafts.

If the Senators are going to give up that package, they can probably get Chychrun who has a much less risky contract. Maybe they need to add, but the base would be there.
