Description

Barzal’s injury is a mystery, but if the case is that he’s for the rest of the regular season, here’s how the isles stay afloat to make the playoffs and have a chance at the cup

Once JGP is back Barbashev can be moved to wing as an upgrade in the middle-six. Bemstrom can replace Fashing on the 4th line once bailey is back, or could even take bailey’s spot altogether.

Swap Salo out for, say a conditional 4th, and CBJ accept. Ups to a 3rd based on games played/ points scored/ playoff progression, whatever.

He may not have lived up to his hype as a prospect, but Bems brings value, can play in the NHL, and has a few more years of control. He’s worth more than an AHL LD.
