I really don't think the Van and Chi trades are good for the Jets. I don't think Chi can take that Schmidt contract anyways.

What a dumb idea to trade Perfetti. Even dumber to trade Lucius for Domi. Dumb again to play a rookie Samberg and trade a vet in Schmidt for playoffs. And WPG doesn't need retention on any of these - ur spending additional assets for nothing. Dumb all around.

Edit: FYI - Mcgroarty's in college and Rashevsky just extended in KHL.

Yikes. The Jets get absolutely fleeced in the SJS and CHI trades.

The deal with the Canucks might be closer but I still think that’s bad for the Jets.
