1.
VAN
  1. Mercer, Dawson
  2. 2023 4th round pick (NJD)
  3. 2023 6th round pick (NJD)
  4. 2024 4th round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
constellation prize for the devils if they do not get Meier (the devils might want Boeser instead but I think Garland is a better fit for the devils)
the 2024 4th round pick is conditional. It will remain a 4th round pick if the devils make the ECF this year or next, however it will become a 5th round pick if they do not
2.
VAN
  1. Greenway, Jordan
  2. Lambos, Carson
  3. 2023 7th round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
Boeser gets a homecoming and a change of scenery
MIN
  1. Boeser, Brock ($1,000,000 retained)
Additional Details:
The Canucks should ask for faber instead of lambos but I think the wild will be hesitant
3.
VAN
  1. 2023 3rd round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
I believe that we can trade schenn for a third round from a eastern conference team as there are 7 teams in play for 2 wildcard spots. A team might overpay and give the Canucks a second

You couldn't be farther off on that Garland trade...woof. You think the Devils can't wait to get rid of Mercer?

Well, normally I'd say that this is an overpayment by NJD and Minnesota, but then again if someone said we would get Kravtsov from the Rangers for a 7th rounder and a perennial AHL player, I would have told them that they were dreaming.

That's a statement that can't be definitively made until he has had enough time to adjust to the North American game in a meaninful way. He proved in the KHL that he can play with pros, but he needs to be properly taught here and given more than 3rd/4th line icetime/linemates. I hope he goes to the AHL for a bit to get some confidence and coaching. Maybe he will stink, but it's too soon to declare that. Either way, the Canucks didn't give up much for him.

Main issue is that Vancouver had all the power thereX they knew NYR needed to move the cap, and took full advantage. That wouldn’t be the case with the Wild and Devils
