Not a Vancouver fan but if I were them I'd move Miller for whatever is being offered

JT Miller contract was a mistake. The best they can hope for is a reprieve like Hextall miraculously got with Kapanen.

We would like a high 2nd or low 1st and a prospect or young roster player for miller

Vancouver fans will be realistic in trading Miller to recoup any assets they can get (should have dealt him last deadline) and garland without taking much money back in order to have some breathing room and build the team up properly.

What will actually happen? Miller traded with retention for another player who doesn't make sense for the current team and buyout garland. Then sign an old vet or 2 in free agency to be a middling team next season

Miller retention only will last for one year, which means a team is trading for Miller at $8m AAV until he’s 37
