Description

After this Blockbuster trade today, the Leafs are above the cap and Frank Seravalli said "There is smoke between Kerfoot and Vancouver. Kerfoot is making $3,500,000 on the 4th line which is kinda expensive. With this trade, Kerfoot gets to go home and the Leafs get some extra insurance in case of any injury during the playoffs. I also see Luke Schenn as an upgrade over Holl. He's cheaper and is having a better year than Holl. Justin Holl gets to go home as well and help Minnesota bulk up the Defence even more.

If they are willing to move Holl or Kerfoot, it will only be one of those players. A 5th Rd pick for instance means nothing to them and everyone in the Toronto market should boycott the Leafs if they ever go past the TDL with $3.5 million in cap to be used for nothing.
