I think Washington would only be looking for picks for Jensen instead of prospects.

DC (for better or worse) has committed to staying afloat until Ovi is gone, so this seems to be a retool and contend year, especially considering Kuznetsov, Ovechkin, Backstrom, Wilson, Strome, Milano, Carlson, and Kuemper all under contract past this offseason, but I think they would consider dealing Jensen if the price is high enough (so probably a 1st rounder).

depending how the seASon goes for ottawa it might be a option for them during offseason to explore this...possibly 1st rd in 24 (with conditions?)

NSH passes. That is not enough for Saros. Thomson might be a former 1st rounder, but so is Fabbro. Saros would need at least a couple of 1sts to get the conversation started.

Probably won't be available by then due to his expiring deal. If Ottawa is apprehensive about trading their first (which is completely fair), I think they should probably choose to target Fabbro instead, since Jensen will probably be traded or extended by the time the draft rolls around.

LAK won't part with Clarke, considering he was out of the question in the Chychrun sweepstakes.

And that Saros deal is beyond laughable

thats what i thought ...the one ottawa should target is Fabbro ..Saros was a just a wildcard to plAY WITH.. i think ottawa is content with goaltending next season...maybe a veteran backup they could sign offseason..

That offer would likely get you Fabbro...but not a chance it gets you Saros as well.

no G is worth a couple of first, not even vasi or Hally, G are too unpredictable to have that value
