Krug should be moved before parayko tbh if at all possible. Faulk and Leddy as well.

Yeah I honestly have no idea how teams will value Parayko.

Long term we just can't replace Parayko that's the issue. Big Right Shot mobile guys who can play 23-24 a night against some of the toughest comp in the league doesn't really ever come available. I agree that we do need to reshape the defense. I'm just of the opinion Parayko is the last one of the top 4 to move if we don't want a long term rebuild.

I agree with you on this take. I just don’t see any teams being interested in Leddy or Krug at the moment and with the Parayko rumors it just made sense to include him in a mock trade.

It may take a couple of seasons to fix it properly.

Best case scenario fire Van Ryn, Find a young LD that hasn't broken out yet similar to a Devon Toews situation and be able to move Krug down to strictly 3rd pairing and have him just fully run the powerplays.

Either that or draft one with one of our later picks and hope they can develop and start to filter in in their d+2. Both pretty unlikely. But after next year Krug should be quite a bit more movable, he's also not bad to buyout after next season if needed.
