True, but it's more about the playoff system than the team since they will most likely get TB in round 1.

he was the 7th d man and probably wanted out. so they trade him while hes valuable and get a 1st they could flip. or they could use the pick and draft a better defensemen.

7th dman ALWAYS plays in the playoffs. Dubas will regret not having him when all is said and done. Gustafsson not withstanding.

i doubt dubas is done. they might try and improve on the right side with the 1st they are getting
