Description

If Bedard falls to the Hawks, this can shorten the rebuild by about 2-3 years. Allowing Davidson to be a little more aggressive in FA, but still signing low-risk/high-reward players to sell off at the deadline.

You guys seemed thin on bottom-pairing dmen heading into next year, figured he'd fit there with someone young like Alexeyev or whoever. You can do alot worse for $2.2mil with the little cap you guys have heading into this off-season.

Caps pass. They don't need bottom pairing guys and if they did they aren't using McMichael for it.
