Don't you why think RWer Eberle is that important to obtain. He and Brown scored the same number of goals last year. Rosen and Borgman on the Leafs defence next year? Doubtful.
Shatternkirk is PP good but not even strength good. Hardly worth the money.

Leafs can just eat the final year of Lupul's contract by keeping him on LTIR without having to give up two picks. The Shattenkirk contract is going to handcuff the team when we need to give out contracts to Matthews, Marner and Nylander. Jordan Eberle is insignificant. This isn't very good.
