We wouldn't be interested in exchanging Turcotte for another developing forward, or any forward at all, for that matter . . . forwards, we got -- we'll have at least 17 of them competing for the main roster in training camp. We need a high-quality LhD, and the one we would want, you ain't selling, and the one you're selling, we don't want.

It would be embarrassing for us to have given up on Turcotte prematurely and sold low on him if his 2023-2024 looked like Gabe Vilardi's 2022-2023 season.
