Why in the world would we downgrade from Kupari to Hoglander? And if we're moving Kupari at all, it's because we have an excess of quality forwards, so we wouldn't be exchanging him for another one even if Hoglander was as good.

Kupari is older, and hasn't exactly thrived in the NHL, similar to Hoglander. Hardly a downgrade

Kupari is older? What's the matter with you? One was born on March 15, one was born on December 20.

"Hasn't exactly thrived in the NHL"?!?!? He's established himself as a third- or fourth-line center on a playoff team, which is more than Abbotsford Canuck Hoglander or the Vancouver Canucks have done. Yes, that's a downgrade. Take off the homer glasses.

You seem to be upset for no apparent reason. Kupari was drafted a year before Hoglander but has less NHL success. Kupari with 11 points in 51 games this season with underlying numbers that suggest he is hardly more than a replacement level player right now. Hoglander has much more NHL success. The only reason he is in the AHL is to maintain his waiver elegibility.
